The Blackrock Health Innovation Awards will be held on Friday March 3rd 2023.

The Innovation Awards are a priority for Blackrock Health as innovation is regarded as an essential component within the strategic development of the group, and is one of our core values.

Our people are our greatest asset and these Awards give a platform to recognised innovation contributions that are made by individuals and teams. They also enable us to celebrate success and thank our winners.

The Awards will reinforce our commitment to innovation and establish the group as a future-focused and dynamic place to work; always evolving and improving for our patients.

The awards are open to all our people, whether full-time, part-time, permanent or contract, across all locations – Blackrock Clinic, Galway Clinic, Hermitage Clinic, Limerick Clinic and group.

The results must be measurable and show positive outcomes. Either an individual or a team may be nominated for this award. A team is comprised of three or more team members, including the Team Leader and can be cross functional or work-unit based, but within a clinical area.  Relevance: How the innovation addressed the need for the new/ reviewed process
/program /initiative.
 Effectiveness: How the outcomes related to quality, service, financial operations and/or
safety
 Innovation: How was creativity and innovation demonstrated
 Transferability: Describe how this innovation can be transferred, implemented or applied
to other departments group wide.
